Where is The Cotton Lane based?
The Cotton Lane is a small, heart-driven business based in Vancouver, Canada. Founded by Kyla, a mom of two little girls, what began as a one-mom shop has grown into a team of three incredible women. Where are the products made?
The Cotton Lane started with Kyla making everything in her sewing room (which was actually an oversized linen closet in the hallway). As the Cotton Lane grew, we seredipitously partnered with the most amazing team in Türkiye who help us create our carefully crafted products.
Türkiye is home to some of the world’s most skilled textile artisans, and we feel incredibly fortunate to work with the very best among them. To learn more about where our products are made read Our Story.

Products & Customization
Can I personalize my Cuddle Book?
We occasionally offer the option to add an embroidered monogram to Cuddle Books, but availability is very limited. To be the first to know when personalization opens, subscribe to our email list.
Can I personalize my Advent Calendar?
Yes! We offer a limited number of personalized Advent Calendars each year. All personalized orders must be placed by September 30th as part of our pre-order process. To ensure you don’t miss out, subscribe to our email list for early access and updates.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
All of our products come beautifully packaged and ready to gift. Cuddle Books arrive in a cream-colored felt tote, while Advent Calendars are packaged in a cotton drawstring bag. During the holiday season, we add festive touches to make each package extra special.
If you're sending a gift directly to a recipient, email us at hello@thecottonlane.com to request a personalized greeting card. We’ll ensure their package feels just as delightful as the gift inside.
Is the Cuddle Book just for children?
Not at all! While the CuddleBook was thoughtfully designed with little ones in mind, it’s a meaningful gift for all ages. Some customers display theirs on the sofa like a soft, cozy throw pillow. Others have shared that it makes a wonderful gift for older loved ones—especially those with dementia—as the familiar photos and gentle textures bring comfort and connection.

Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide!
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! If you’d like to pick up your order in North Vancouver, please email us at hello@thecottonlane.com to arrange a convenient time.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Delivery times vary based on location and shipping method chosen at checkout. While we cannot guarantee delivery dates, all orders are shipped within 3 business days.
Can I track my order?
If you are located in Canada or the USA, you will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer tracked shipping to other destinations at this time.
What if my order is delayed or lost?
If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated time frame, please reach out to us at hello@thecottonlane.com. While we cannot guarantee delivery dates, we will do our best to assist you.
What is your return policy?
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to help.
What if my order arrives damaged?
We take great care in packaging, but if your order arrives damaged, please email us within 7 days with photos, and we will arrange a replacement.
Digital Downloads
What are digital downloads?
Our free digital downloads include beautifully designed printable files that you can easily download and print at home or at a local print shop. From seasonal flashcards and festive pennants to chore charts and classroom Valentine’s, we’re always adding new designs to inspire creativity and connection.
Are the digital downloads really free?
Yes! These downloads are our way of saying thank you for being part of The Cotton Lane community. Simply create a free account, which also subscribes you to our email list. We promise never to spam you, and you can unsubscribe anytime with one click.
How do I access the digital downloads?
Visit our Digital Downloads page and create a free account by entering your email and setting a password. Once logged in, you’ll have instant access to our entire collection.
Do I need special software to use the digital downloads?
No special software is required! Most files are ready-to-print PDFs. Some designs are customizable through Canva, so if you’d like to personalize them, you’ll need a free Canva account. For technical questions related to Canva, we recommend reaching out to their customer support, as we are not Canva specialists.
Can I use the digital downloads for commercial purposes?
No, all digital downloads are for personal use only. The files remain the property of The Cotton Lane and cannot be resold, shared, or used commercially.
How often do you add new digital downloads?
We’re constantly expanding our collection, adding fresh designs every week! Check back regularly or stay updated by joining our email community.

Who can order wholesale from The Cotton Lane?
Wholesale is open to any business, big or small, including photographers, care centres and schools! If you love our products and want to stock them, we’d love to work with you.
Can I order directly from Cotton Lane instead of going through Faire?
Yes! however, if you may not receive the promotions available through Faire. Please reach out to diana@thecottonlane.com to order directly from us.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We require a minimum order of 10 units to unlock wholesale pricing. You can mix and match products to reach this MOQ.
What is the wholesale price?
Yes! Wholesale orders are eligible for up to 50% off retail prices.
